Two questions often come up on the Facebook group: "Where do I buy a decent bike in Doha?" and "Where can I rent a bike". Here's the answers. This page doesn't pretend to be comprehensive, although if something is wrong or missing, do let us know. Each of the shops that we have listed here sell quality cycling equipment but each has its own USPs and brands so rather than reviewing each of them in detail, we'll leave it to you to decide who has what you need.
When looking for something specific, it is worth phoning ahead to find out whether the item is in stock.

A store dedicated to all things cycling and triathlon. The knowledgeable staff are active in both road and mountain biking and offer expert advice.

Go Sport is one of the largest sports stores in Qatar with branches in Villagio, City Centre and Festival City Malls. They have large sections devoted to cycling and although you may not automatically think of them as a cycling store, they can often stock some items which you can't find in other stores.

Rasen Adventure Shop

Rasen are the latest store to offer quality services and road and mountain bikes ranging up to the top end. They have knowledgeable staff who are active in mountain biking. There are two branches: Umm Slal Mohammed and the new flagship store on the south side of the Salwa Road/Wholesale Market Street junction (part of the Sports Corner complex)

Decathlon are known world-wide for their well-priced sports equipment. Their B-Twin bike brand has some entry-level bikes at the top of the range and some solidly built clunkers further down.
